Under 18's - Gaffer
Hi, no I’m not the Gaffer, nor the assistant Gaffer but the Youth Team Secretary spouting my two penn’orth.
If you look at the Midweek Youth League Table you see we are doing okay, it’s on the cup front that seems we have problems, going out of all three at an early stage.
The biggest disappointment was losing to Carlton Town in the FA Youth Cup when some good chances went begging. They went on for three more rounds after beating us in extra time.
In the County Cup we were first round losers to Hinckley United who play at a higher level.
A poor display at Rothley K.O’d our League Cup aspirations. Some excuse because it was the teams first match for twelve weeks.
